Tomato Soup by Chef Anu


Tomato soup is a classic, comforting dish that’s easy to make and can be served as a starter or even a light meal. Here’s a simple recipe you can try:



TOMATO SOUP


Serving for 3 to 4 people 


INGREDIENTS :

Butter - 2 tbsp

Oil - 1 tsp

Bay leaf - 2

Crushed black pepper- 6 to 7

Fine chopped Garlic - 9 to 10 

Crushed Ginger - 1 inch

Onion - 1 medium size

Wheat Flour - 2 tbsp

Fine chopped Carrot - 1/4 cup

Fine chopped Beetroot - 2 to 3 tbsp

Tomato - 7 to 8

Coriander stem - 1 tbsp

Red chilli powder - 1 tsp

Salt 

Tomato ketchup - 3 tbsp

Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp

Sugar - 2 tbsp

Water 


Method 

Take a pan add butter, oil, black pepper, bay leaf, ginger, garlic, onion mix well cook for 2-3 min

Now add wheat flour and roast on low flame

Add carrot, beetroot, chopped tomato, coriander stem and mix well.

Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt and cook till it becomes soft now off the gas cool it make a fine pure and stain it 

Now heat a pan and add the stained purée and take one boil
